Strategic Location

our college is located at the centre of the city,so that students from all localities have easy access to it.it also falls within half a kilometre from the city’s railway station and bus station, which helps students from surrounding places to study and go back to their respective places in reasonable amount of time.

At AL-SHARAY College we challenge students to participate fully in a vibrant and diverse academic community. The College’s centralt location offers an inspirational setting for learning and reflection, reinforcing our commitment to integrating environmental stewardship into both our curriculum and our practices on campus. Yet the College also reaches far beyond our city, offering a rich array of programs that connect our community to other places, countries, and cultures. We strive to engage students’ capacity for rigorous analysis and independent thought within a wide range of disciplines and endeavors, and to cultivate the intellectual, creative, physical, ethical, and social qualities essential for leadership in a rapidly changing global community. Through the pursuit of knowledge unconstrained by national or disciplinary boundaries, students who come to AL-SHARAY learn to engage the world.

Mission

The most complete kind of human learning takes place in community. With the solidarity of companionship and the challenge of truth, we produce students with ethical awareness and a commitment to serving purposes larger than themselves. The intellectual interchange essential to a university requires, and is enriched by, the presence and voices of diverse scholars and students.

The ISLAMIC identity of the University depends upon, and is nurtured by, the continuing presence of a predominant number of ISLAMIC intellectuals. The University prides itself on being an environment of teaching and learning that fosters the development in its students of those disciplined habits of mind, body, and spirit that characterize educated, skilled, and free human beings.

In addition, the University seeks to cultivate in its students not only an appreciation for the great achievements of human beings but also a disciplined sensibility to the poverty, injustice and oppression that burden the lives of so many. The aim is to create a sense of human solidarity and concern for the common good that will bear fruit as learning becomes service to justice.

The students are taught and developed the 5-C’s in them; Character, Commitment, Conviction, Courtesy and Courage.
